The new system will award points for win, place, show and 4 th place finishes for races as the graded stakes earnings method has now been retired. The Road to the Kentucky Derby schedule will only offer up to 10 points for a win with the first leg of the Kentucky Derby Championship Series offering up to 50 points for a win and the second leg offering up to 100 points for a win.
