Ramon A. Dominguez is a champion jockey in American Thoroughbred horse racing. He began racing at the age of 16 in his native land, Venezuela in show jumping and after some time he started riding thoroughbreds in flat racing events. In 1996 he migrated to the United States and began riding at Florida s Hialeah Park Race Track. In 2001 and 2003 he was the jockey with the best win percentage and for this reason he won the Isaac Murphy Award in 2004.
